Runkus, Jamaican singer, deejay, MC, songwriter, and producer, stands as one of the island’s most sought-after young talents. Backed by Delicious Vinyl Island, Runkus is poised to unveil his full artistry with the upcoming album, IN:SIDE. Born Romario Sebastian Anthony Bennett, Runkus was immersed in Jamaica's vibrant music scene from a young age. Venturing into music independently, Runkus formed the OldSkl Bond and released singles before dropping his debut EP, "Move In," in 2016.
Beyond his solo endeavors, Runkus has contributed to works by reggae luminaries like Protoje and Jah9, showcasing his versatility as a writer, producer, and featured artist. Released on Jan. 15, 2021, IN:SIDE promises to be a timely and thought-provoking addition to Runkus’ illustrious discography.
